    I am Spartacus.

  2. No, I’m Sparticus!

  3. If Jed Brandt is Spartacus, that would make Glenn Beck Marcus Licinius Crassus.

The historian Dio Cassius, writing in the late 2nd or early 3rd century AD, reports a story that after Crassus’ death the Parthians poured molten gold into his mouth as punishment for his greed (Cassius Dio 40.27).

Great scene. One two levels: people protecting their revolutionary leadership, and people taking ownership of their own movement. In the latter level, it is quite true that they “are” Spartacus. Conscious solidarity is a wonderful thing.

    All of the Sparticus-es.

Crassus/Glenn Beck can grovel in the dirt and kiss our commie asses — until tears of madness overflow and run down his pig-like snout — just like on tee vee!

  7. have people seen the Spartacus 2004 remake? Which do people think is better? I have not seen this older one.
